Indonesia: Bali- Feeling like a Balinese

In Bali, You will not experience a Balinese culture if you will not stay in  Balinese villa. Instead of staying in a hotel, I opted to stay in a friend's villa. The food is kinda different from Jakarta.

I typical villa has a lush gardens, swimming pool , a pond and the so called "Balinese" architecture.

Indonesia: Bali- Garuda Warnu Kankuna

After exploring the Uluwatu Temple, I proceeded to GWK or Garuda Warnu Kankuna- a  nature park, and passed by a beach resort.

Indonesia: Bali- exploring Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu is a must place to go once you are in Bali. When you get inside the complex you have to pay an entrance fee of about USD 5 and everyone must wear a waistband with various colors when roaming around the shrine.
There a plenty of monkeys around the shrine and one should not forget to bring in bananas. One should also be extra careful with these monkeys since they sometimes grab away visitors belongings.

Indonesia: Trip to Majestic Bali

After a three day sight seeing in Jakarta, Air Asia flight to Bali. It took almost three and a half hours flight. The exclusive Air Asia Airport Terminal was so modern and so clean.

Indonesia: Eating out Indonesian style - A friend's Treat

I met Aulia in China Fair in Guangzhou last year. With his invitation for me to visit Jakarta which I did, took me several months of planning. My itinerary was to visit as many places in Indonesia as possible. But with only 7 days to spare, I just visited Jakarta and Bali.

On my first day I called upon Aulia and he treated me to a dinner.
