HONGKONG: THE WORLD CITY

Holy Week of 2009, I treated my Mom to Hongkong for a short holiday. The weather was still cool that time, around First week of March. Booked a Cebu- HK flight via Cathay Pacific. We did not stay in a hotel. We stayed in the apartment of a  Filipina- Boholana  married to a HK resident but still we paid 100 HKD each per night stay. The only comfort was you can use her kitchen since my mother prefers to cook her own food. She hungered for rice. No to Burgers, Fries, and Noodles. We arranged our host in HK, Ate Baby to meet us since we would be  arriving around 10 in the evening . I didn't know her place yet in Kowloon. Although it  would be my 4th time to go to HK.

We boarded the fastcraft from Tagbilaran to Cebu, Weesam Express, travel time was about 1 1/2 hour.
Took some instant noodles during the trip
Check -in counter at Mactan Intl. Airport Cebu

Across the street, was a Chinese restaurant. SORRY NO ENGLISH. The menu was all in Chinese characters. I had to act it when we wanted chicken with rice but they served pork. After eating went upstairs and rested.
